98.5% standard line. Took the 1.5 for some bet sizes, but yeah u played it as it had to be played.

Re: A8s hits 2 pair on flop & a boat on turn
Raise preflop
Other than that what do you want to know? you got all the money in when you only lose to KK realistically |

You can raise on the CO with a suited ace. I raise a bit less on the flop. You want at least one customer. On a blank turn shove. In this situation instacall the turn.

Re: A8s hits 2 pair on flop & a boat on turn
It seems fine. You certainly can't fold your boat anywhere.
The flop is a good one for your hand and although we can't rule out AK, KK, or even AA for BB, you should be looking to get your money in with your strong but vulnerable hand. So the raise is good. On the turn, you beat AK (6 combos) and lose to KK (3 combos) and AA (1 combo). Villain could also have AQ or AJ or could even be beating you to the push with a flush draw or something, so you have a trivially easy call, getting ~3:1. |
