I wonder why they would move from Bobby's Room I thought Bobby Baldwin treated them very well at the Bellagio ?

What was the source, anyway?

I think it was an article from Bluff magazine. I saved this text in a word-document, so I don't have the direct link.

[/ QUOTE ]it doesnt hurt to post the source

"The Pot Limit and No Limit games we play are capped,” says Lyle. “The most anyone can lose in a hand is $100,000. We play, perhaps, $1,000/$2,000 blinds with a pretty big ante. That changes the complexity of the game quite a lot. So when we play No Limit, it’s usually not anything like what you see in tournaments, where there’s a lot more play on the flop and on the turn.”

[/ QUOTE ]

Am I missing something or is this a terrible structure? Perhaps he meant $100/$200 blinds?

Stud 8/b = Stud 8 or better, i.e. the low has to be at least 8 high in order to qualify. In straight Stud hi-lo there is no such restriction.

In stud Hi/Lo, is A-5 still the nut low, or is it 6432A, or 75432 but any chance? Also they never play with a declare do they? I grew up playing stud hi/lo with bet-declare-bet at the end. Fun game.

Honestly, this is a question best suited to be asked Barry, or one of the other regulars, as I have no idea other then the fact that the V has been marketing very hard to get them to play in their Salon instead of BR at the B.

Just as a personal opinion of one of the possible reasons is that with regard to privacy. Bobby's Room is really a true fishbowl, in the dead center of the poker room. Little to no privacy through the glass walls and doors, whereas the Salon at the V is off to the side, with bathroom like frosted glass on the one wall that faces outward, which faces a dead part of the casino anyway, so privacy seems to be much higher there, but like I said, it is just my opinion.

Yeah I just did a google to look at some image's of the poker room and bobby's room and it is very weird how it is setup. I figured it would be a seperate entrance at the side of the poker room but it's dead smack in the middle.
