Default Outlook read receipt

Turn it off. Now. mother [censored] most annoying thing there is. I'll get to your email when I get the [censored] to your email. You don't need confirmation that I read it. I mean, why the hell does this exist? Is ass covering built into any other software.

I'm gonna find you and take a baseball bat to your computer. That will be your confirmation that I read your email.

what a nit imo. it would be better if he took a "true screenshot" with his camera phone and sent those

I feel your pain... there is a guy I have email communication with a few times a week and every one of his emails has a read receipt on it. Even the 2nd or 3rd time he's replied in an email string, and every single person he sends it to gets it. I've never met him but I'm pretty sure he's a retard. I don't think he realizes it actually makes me read his emails last so I don't have to actually do what he's requesting the minute he knows I've read his email.

yeah anytime someone requests a read receipt i dont do it for principle alone. On a related note, my gmail password stopped working randomly today and I don't have a secondary email setup so I have to wait 5 days to be able to use it again, awesome...

Don't you have an option to not send the receipt? That's what I generally do. Along with blatantly ignoring all messages labeled urgent, because I have come to learn that they generally aren't.
