You idiots claiming the Giants suck are just flatly retarded.

Will the win the Super Bowl? Hell no.

Will they make the playoffs? Yeah probably.

You can call it a soft schedule or whatever, but they're a solid team. They're no Patriots obv, but jesus H they're no Dolphins/Rams either.

tufats voice is so annoying in those videos. and his speech impediment is fun to laugh at already (ahhaha ship it hawwaa)

but knowing that that voice is coming from margaret cho's husky twin brother... man that tilts me and i wish i knew why. ship it hawwa i guess.

[/ QUOTE ]

I recently had a conversation with three other dudes about how awesome tufat's voice is. I'm pretty sure the phrase "I could masturbate to his cardplayer videos" was dropped

LOL at Giants not being a "real" team. Right...

The 5th best record in the NFL and a dominating defense.
[censored] morons.

[/ QUOTE ]

they beat an 0-8 team by only 3 points

Passing

E. Manning 8/22 59 yds

now thats LOL

[/ QUOTE ]

An average QB had a bad game. Wow.

Does that discredit the rest of the team's achievements? No.

The Giants' defense held down the Dolphins til pretty much the end of the 4th quarter when they scored that late touchdown. It was a wet, sloppy, muddy game. Yea, Eli sucked, but the defense came in and did its job to get the win.

That being said, the Giants are 7th in avg. points per game. They are 7th in avg. rushing yards as well, despite pre-season doubts (especially with the leaving of Tiki). They have a solid rushing game with 3 backs that have different running styles. They also have a solid defense, 7th in yards allowed. They LEAD the NFL in sacks. Even their offensive line is looking decent this year. You wanna knock Eli, fine, go ahead. But realize that there is much more to a team than just the QB. They're alot more "real" than over half the other teams in the league.

The combined record of the opponents NYG have won against:

11-33

[/ QUOTE ]

For comparision purposes:

Combined record of Giants' opponents - 22-35
Combined record of Patriots' opponents - 24-34
Combined record of Colts' opponents - 27-23
Combined record of Dolphins' opponents - 33-26

I know this isn't a real fair comparison since you are talking about combined record of teams that the Giants have beaten so here is apples to apples comparison:

Combined record of teams the Giants have won against: 11-33
Combined record of teams the Cowboys have won against: 14-32

Note: the only team above .500 that the Cowboys have beaten is the Giants

ahahahahahh I just saw Cleo Lemon's fumble on nfl.com. Didn't realize what he did in the game because I thought he just got sacked and fumbled. That is hilarious.

I am a huge giants fan but this game was torture to watch on TV. not because of the sloppy play or anything, but because the 2 dudes they had commenting, combined with "goose" on the sidelines made it so [censored] bad that i watched the 2nd half of the game on mute.

blah blah blah football speculation blah blah blah. The Dolphins are bad and only getting worse. This John Beck kid better work out for them or their franchise is in the shitter, that's all i'm gonna say. Thank god Ted Ginn caught a TD pass.

Eli (I am a HUGE Eli fanboy btw) just did not look comfortable at all in early going - and TBH he has looked far from spectacular for a few weeks now. Then they figured out that they should just give the ball to Jacobs and win the game and go home. The team is on the rise because the defense has started to fit into the scheme better.

Of course, none of this means anything for the giants if they can't stay healthy. The past 2 years we have been crushed by injuries late in the season.

Plus we're in the NFC. Is there any team in the NFC anyone has complete confidence in? Even my friends who are cowboys fans are still nervous.

it's not their fault they haven't played a good team since they got their [censored] together. the giants are not a tremendous team but they're looking like a pretty decent playoff team - being in the top 12 in the NFL is an accomplishment.
