5/10 at the Borg - No more 6/12
Stopped in yesterday. The 6/12 game has now been replaced with 5/10.
Seems to be a good move, there were 2 full 5/10 tables while I was there (with a list). The 6/12 always had problems keeping a game going for whatever reason. |

I don't know why, but according to dealers, the change happened Friday.
Couple of us in the MTT were doing double takes when this game got called. |

Re: 5/10 at the Borg - No more 6/12
I thought the management just didn't encourage the 6/12 games which caused them not to run often.
From what I have read about more chips generaly encouraging more action, it sounds like this would likely be not as good a game as a 6/12. Do you know what the small blind is on the new game? |

Do you know what the small blind is on the new game? Most likely the same as the Taj, 2-5 blinds. |

Re: 5/10 at the Borg - No more 6/12
This seems like a good idea by them, since the game hasnt been going much. Whenever I played in that game, there were very few white chips on the table, and the dealer had to make change for like every bet which slowed down the game considerably. In a 5-10 game, there is almost never change being made, which is a definite plus. However, having less chips in the pot does decrease action, so it would have been kind of cool if they adopted the 7.50/15 pink game instead, but I can certainly understand why they wouldn't go that route.

Whenever I played in that game, there were very few white chips on the table [/ QUOTE ] Borg should have authorized $2 chips just for this game, and it would have been healthier. The small blind structure should have switched to $4. Of course the downside is there is a cost incurred in buying the new chips just for the game so a 5/10 probably looked better in managements eyes. |

2.50s are blackjack chips (5 dollar bet paying 3:2).
