Does anyone remember that thing from that horrible Keanu Reeves movie Johnny Mnemonic? It was like this laser rope/string thing. So awesome.

yeah, I do. that like super-thin laser that extended from dude's pinky. i remember that scene where some henchman pissed him off and he just immediately sliced him into three pieces and the top two slipped off the bottom third. it was disgusting.
