This is probably fine if hes bluffy although i bet the turn a lot.

I dunno, i think the chance of a 42/27 at 100nl being competent post flop is exactly zero. It's more likely that he has been making good plays inadvertently rather than actually understanding what he is doing and why he is doing it.

I think a 42/27 will fire all 3 streets w/ top pair decent kicker, so you played it fine. There's no reason to bet and slow villain down when he will do the betting for you.

Of course, sometimes he's going to have you crushed, and you will feel like a station. However, i think you will be ahead way more often than you are behind.

See I'm not quite sure. I'd be willing to bet pretty much all pairs, AJs+, and maybe some of the better suited connectors?

I think that's fair. A friend and I often sweat each other and he plays like 35/25 and I think that's a very accurate range of what he'd call with. Maybe cut out the very lowest pocket pairs though. Also AQo+ obv.

i think you should crai on the turn, but if you're going to just call, i think not calling the river would be a big mistake.

Checking the turn is fine if the plan is to check raise all in. If not though i'd rather just lead out again.
