I don't even know how you guys can spend so much money. I feel like I can't spend money fast enough. I've never really wanted expensive things though. I could never imagine spending $2000 on a watch or $500 on a night out. I think if online poker dries out I'd probably feel incredibly guilty for blowing a bunch of money instead of saving it. Also, I find it extremely important right now to put everything back into my bankroll so I can play bigger games and make more money. I feel like a lot of people are holding themselves way back by dropping so much money, and would be better off in the long run to wait until they don't need the money before they buy that expensive car or something.

Yeah a pathetic life nit I know. Everyone enjoy your ballin lifestyles because I'm jealous.

[ QUOTE ]

current net worth : lifetime earnings from any work/poker/gambling pretax

[/ QUOTE ]

If, in someone's lifetime, they have won 6k playing poker, but lost 3k playing other casino games, I would consider the income to be 6k. I would consider the 3k to be a loss of net worth, but not a decrease in income, the same as I'd consider 3k spent on some other consumable.

I also would consider interest and dividends from investments as income. I'm ok considering capital gains as a net worth adjustment, but not "income."

However, using your definiton I'd be around 30k:240k, so 1:8.

$1million isn't what it used to be. By the time I retire, $10 million is going to be the new $1 mil.
