Default 5/10 nl on bodog. Good bluff card?

I know this isnt the correct forum but the moaps in the mid stakes suck at feedback. Please help...

3 handed. Im on the button with J [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] J [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] and make it $35, sb calls (ok tag) bb calls (tight, passive).

effective stacks, me $800, bb $900

flop is Q [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] J [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 9 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

sb checks, bb bets $75, I call. sb folds. Not sure what to think here. I figured at the time call and pretty much push any threating turn card.

Turn 8 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

he leads for $220. I push. Thoughts?

thats one of the best boards to just call behind with your set. bluffing is the only way for you to win since your hand has no showdown value.

Awesome.

And BTW, when people make those "my big hand just got weaker, I shove!" plays, you actually plan on doing that? I was sure it was out of panic. Sweet.

whoa. didnt mean to get anyone angry. was just looking for some construcive critisim.

i admit this hand was played awfully, i guess im being results oriented here but i thought I could get a naked 10 to fold.

(in this hand he called with KQ no heart and rivered the 10)

Your assessment of his play was pretty far off, then. That type of move w/ KQ qualifies him as a pretty huge fish, other things being equal.

Also, call the turn, since your hand is now a bluff-catcher but is also under-repped, so you've got good implieds on a board-pairing river, since villain will pretty much never put you on a set given your action thus far.

Okay, if this is serious, I will give a serious response even though you called us out in the beginning of your post.

You should really think about this. Your thought process here is absolutely awful. You basically have the 2nd nuts on a draw heavy flop with a redraw vs the nuts. You do not want to be thinking like this.
