Default 10/20 at the borg hu with 22.

10/20 at the Borgata.

Been at the table for about an hour. Villian seems tight passive/ not that tricky. Not sure what he thinks of me. But the table seems to be respecting my raises.

I get dealt 22 on the Btn.

Pf: 1 fold, Villain raises, rest fold to me. I 3-bet. Blinds fold. HU to the flop.

Flop: A, K, 8r. He checks, I bet, He calls.

Turn: Q. He checks..... Whats the plan for turn and river?

What range do you put him on?

check/fold. His range is likely in that flop, KQ etc type hands he more than likely has that than a low pp here and this flop is too dangerous to barrell again in small HU pot.

You should check behind on the turn and fold to a bet on the river. This highlights why you probably don't want to play pockets 2s heads up against a preflop raiser. Any card is an overcard.

on the button are u serious about folding preflop?

out of SB and BB against 1 opponent, yes standard fold- but on the button... really? how bad is calling? I'm more of MSNL so my questioning is genuine; I'm just prodding for more knowledge.

Because, like afish said, every card is an overcard and you're not getting odds to draw to a set- button or not. And, FWIW, I'd call it in the BB just to "defend my blind."

Give up. Fold if he bets. He's straightforward and tight/passive. You're done with the hand if he puts any money in.

Someone who is tight passive raises in early position and you want to play him headsup with 22? If you aren't already beat preflop, every card is a scare card. Don't bother.
