Default River decision threebet pot

Pf raiser is a fish 40/12 other guy is an average not very good player. Pf raiser hit the river twice when i checked the turn for pot control I paid him off both times in iffy spots. He also called an all in from a 1/2 stack with Q9 after raising otb, bb shoved $200 with AQ.

UTG folds, MP raises to $14, CO folds, BTN calls $14, SB folds, Hero raises to $58, MP calls $44, BTN calls $44

Flop: ($176) A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (3 Players)

Turn: ($176) Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3 Players)
Hero checks, MP checks, BTN bets $125, Hero calls $125, MP folds

It's doubtful you're getting call by worse if you shove

I'm really curious as to why we're checking this flop. I think the pot should end there, as we should bet/call this flop. As played, I think I have to check/fold the river, I would probably call a smallish bet, but fold to a large bet.

hm checking the flop here is ok from time to time i think...

you c/f the river unless villian bets small?
if he don't got a set what isn't that likely the only ace that beat us is AQ what i unlikly because there are already 2 Q's out there and loose donkeys like vilian will call pf with AJ and worser hands all day long

I think worse aces will bet probably a decent percentage of the time since our hand looks like KK. I like the c/c on the river. It gives him chance to bluff off.

no im never folding this river... stacks.. . villain.. question is whether to shove and get called by worse aces or check/call. im leaning towards check/call since he didn't bet the flop when it was checked to him which makes it slightly less likely he has an ace.

c/c since he probably bets any A and maybe some bluffs

Flop is fine on occasion, and rest of the hand looks good considering that check.

C/fing river here looks pretty damn bad.
