Re: 50NL- 160 bb deep AA
Mathematically, and given his stats, the obvious answer is that you would call this.
However, I've seen these overbets like this from types of people: 1) Good players who know that his opponent is in a must call situation. More examples like this are players with a boat who push on the river when a flush fills up. 2) Bad players who push because they don't know anything about value betting and just realize they have the best hand and push. So your opponent either has an A, Q, or its a complete bluff. Now lets look at the pot. It's $25, and he's betting $60... Personally, I would fold this because I think its one of the above situations. I would fold because I've done pushes like this and people can't lay their hands down. I wouldn't be suprised if he had Q, and I would actually like to know if you called and if he had a Q. I would also like some more experienced players to comment on this situation. |

Re: 50NL- 160 bb deep AA
I think you have to call, only Qx beats you. That's kind of a tight range, AQ-maybe TQ. Now, additionally you should consider that with QQQ on the board, he's less likely to have one in his hand. This seems like an easy call to me, and if you stack off you just call it paying dues.
