Default Best way to find a B&M card room....

I am not requesting information on where a underground cardroom is. I am wondering what is the best way to find out about them? Besides having a direct contact, what are ways to find out where they exist in an area?

I have no contacts, but know they exist in my area. Any suggestions? I purposefully left out my area so people wouldn't feel compelled to break the rules on 2p2.
thanks

makes friends with other poker players where you live, find out who plays in the games and ask for an introduction to the game's operators.

you may want to join your cities poker group at meetup.com and I put my name on homepokergame or some such site years ago and I still get emails inviting me to "well run" home games with dealers. Same for Craigslist, people are always looking for home games you might get lucky. Just be careful where you go to play, whilst I'm sure most people are decent folks there are plenty of scummt crooks and cheats out there so be aware of your surroundings, don't bring a ton of cash the first few times you play and if you think theres anything fishy just don't go back.
