It seems like the f'ning man, makka81's, account has been suspended. I need my online poker fix. Is there any way a site can host these videos after somebody uploads them or something.

Duh, OBV.

I did like being able to see High Stakes Poker on Youtube since my local cable company doesn't see fit to carry GSN (although I do have multiple shopping channels and bible-thumping channels).

At a guess because YouTube are a company, and they try to stay fairly legal by taking down copyrighted content if asked to do so by the copyright holders. The other stuff is just a mechanism used by many, and is not controllable in the same way by any upset copyright holders. Just a guess, IANAL etc.
