Default QQ - 3 bet pot, ugly turn

I think this hand should be easy but just wantd to check up real quick.

villain is donkish. passive and stationy postflop, and has been passive tagfishy preflop. calls down with any top pair, draw etc. probably understands jsut the basics. hes like 26/10 in the ~100 hes been at my table. first time he has 3bet PF.

i assume you mean just calling is bad in both spots.
i can see 4 betting PF... i dint because 1) i dont 4bet mcuh in general (maybe a leak?) and
2) villain had barely even raised a single hand PF yet, much less 3-bet.

and as for the flop, well, why raise? give me a good reason why rasiing > calling. protecting vs a 6 outer is not a real good reason imo

since you are willing to put more money into this pot later (you did on turn) you should raise flop/fold in position like this and his range will be more defined if the J doesnt slow him down. hope it makes sense.

nothing wrong with either as long as you know what to do later in the hand. pre is much more questionable, but calling isnt necessarily incorrect IMO.

4bet pf is my default anyways. I 4bet bluff too so its not polarized to qq/kk/aa/ak. His 3bet was 2 1/2 times your initial raise. I think villain betting range on the flop is really wide. Any Jx/pair+gut shot hands are calling you. His flop calling range is way behind QQ. Especially when he's already demonstrated incompetence by 3betting 2 1/2 times your raise.
