ok the guy folded. surely it is v likely that he folded a pair. I would count this as a gross misplay though.

Some of the times he folds he has something like QJ anyway, though there aren't many draws out there to be fair. Anyway, it's obv a spew against a player like that unless he tighens up a whole lot on the river.

Well, preflop stats don't equal post flop stats. So perhaps he folds all non straights here. As I said I don't try to bluff these guys BUT I do find myself shutting down and losing to third pair because of this. You could have it right here, where what you're representing is blindingly obvious even to villain. That said, you're not exactly playing to your opponent's weaknesses.

"Opponent is a 50/3 passive calling station." After that nothing else matters here. I've tried this stuff enough to know it doesn't matter what you're repping. It matters that HE has a pair. Which is too much to bluff out.

Ya. I would fire as well. It might be a little ev- in a vacuum but if we lose we have the 2nd best position to take what has become a full stack plus he`ll give it to us with anything after this hand.

I've often seen these guys make huge calls and then tighten up completely when they win.

Would anybody disagree with this: if you are going to run a bluff against this sort of player then this is the exact kind of spot you want to do it in.
