agreed.

I dont run THAT good playin THAT way at nl25.

I have been playing with a 10-15 buy-in Bankroll at stars, because its my secondary site. I agree that a proper BR is key. I completely broke proper BR management at stars.

Started with 10$ - 4-tablin NL2. Got up to ~$25, and started 4-tablin nl5. Shortly after I was given another $40 to my stars acct. Started NL10 when I had about 13 buy-ins.

Will prolly take nl25 shots when I get over $300 for +12 Buy-ins.

I play with 30++ Buy-ins at FT.

This whole post is based on poor assumptions and small sample sizes.

Not many people have large samples, because as said - NL$2 sucks, you win a cheese burger after a day or playing etc. Everyones goal is to move up, so they do.

Maybe some 90 year old granny with have 200 000 sample size, but its prob like -2PTBB/100.

Just play your best, winrates exsist just so those who run hot can make cash coaching

BTW if you buyin with five and overbet you can double your winrate pretty easily, I never did it though cause I only had 36 to go with. I'm at NL10 now.

From my PT:

.02NL- 1300 hands, 55bb/100
.05NL- 3800 hands, 17bb/100

Only thing this post would prove is that if the person has any inkling of what they're doing, they won't be there for long enough to get a decent sample, so it really doesn't matter. Playing 50k hands of 2nl sounds like pure hell. I didn't even bother using 20 buy ins. I just moved up when I got 10 buy ins.

Edit: I was a proven winner at higher limits before this though, so that's why I ignored BR "requirements."

im doing great at NL 1-2c but im beginning to see that the skills you get from those stakes are counter productive at NL 10.....although you do learn some basic starter hands and how to manage your BR...cuz the shadow of going upstakes is so gripping sometimes when your making a dollar an hour :P
