ariel, another thing too is even if this guy NEVER SEMIBLUFFS he woudl think (vs you) a set is the nuts therefore he mvoes in.

Rob, the thing about these [censored] guys is that they don't consider hand ranges, they think "is my hand good enough to play for x amount of money?" and then play accordingly. So no, they won't think a set is the nuts because A [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]K [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] is the nuts, and they'll [censored] check-call until they fill up while quietly praying another [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] doesn't hit. But then they get sick of you and start making moves, granted, but you can tell the players itching to play back at you and it doesn't sound like the Villain is one of those.

Thinking about this more, I would actually lean towards a fold I think, though during actual game I don't see myself being able to lay it down. Plus we have outs!

Kirk

The sad thing is the only thing that comes across in your post is your rudeness. Why are you so rude towards elderly people? People that age should be respected and not mocked. Would you like it if it was your Dad/Grandad? Bang out of order in my view.

For the hand; call.

If it's 666 or AJdd/KJdd/J10dd and this guy doesn't bluff...fold must be right.

I first thought flush but if he thinks you are making a move, why wouldn't he just call your turn raise w/ a high flush?

Lots of times when someone has a set/top two on a flush flop they jam it in to protect against a fourth flush card.

so 666?

By the time it gets around to me there's $2100 in the pot and I raised the guys 1800 more. I think the c/r was already kind of small
