Depends on position, who you're up against and what their ranges are, and how deep you are.
If you're deep, in position, and up against a donk, I tend to 3-bet most of the hands that I want to play unless the specific hand benefits from multiple callers. Some sample hands: KQTJ at least ss AQT9 at least ss to the ace JJxx where xx is a pair or two connecting cards A578 suited to the ace 89TTss 4789ss KKxxss
