Re: flop/turn line with overpair
Flop is fine, raising here and calling a shove is a slight ahead/way behind situation at best. The turn is somewhat ugly yet it counterfeits 54. The problem with calling now though is that you will have to call a nonclub turn, and there is a big possibility he is taking you to valuetown.
Somewhat conservative but I fold the turn with no reads on villan. |

Re: flop/turn line with overpair
I think you have to fold. You could easily have trip 9's here but he doesn't seem to care at all. You're either drawing to 2 outs or he has a monster draw and probably has 12 outs+. Flop call is fine.

Re: flop/turn line with overpair
i like a turn fold as well. if he hasn't a 9 he has decent equity against your hand.

Re: flop/turn line with overpair
I'd raise preflop to about $60/$65.
Flop is good i don't think raising achieves anything. Turn i'd fold this now. |

Re: flop/turn line with overpair
Id say flat call and fold to river bets. I dont think this is a push/fold spot really. That is what villain wants you to do. Ofcourse, just folding is OK too.
i think flop raise might have had some good pot control implications if villain is real tight. |

Re: flop/turn line with overpair
I'd fold, there are just too many ways for this hand to go wrong no matter what he has.
