Default pf cont spot

I'm discovering that everyone at stars is a weaktight nit. Like everyone.

given the stack sizes and the strength of my hand, do I gain more value from betting or checking here?

you have to bet. If he called with something like AQ with a clubs your giving him a free draw.
checking is super weak.

I think there's a general misinterpretation of a checking option here - specifically as it relates to CO who is very short stacked. Checking would not necessarily be with the intention of just calling or worse, folding.

I really want all of CO's $$ in the middle. Given that ugt limp/called, I probably want his stack in the middle as well, though he'd be less likely to do so without a set or a hand that has a club draw. Given that 3 of the broadway draws are out, he usually won't have a big club draw, so it gets more difficult to get his $$ in as the fav, but he's less the consideration since mono flops tend to play themselves from his position.

Given that my first objective is to get CO's $$ in with as wide a range as I can, is this best achieved by betting or by checking?

I'm thinking that checking may be best because when I check here i've either got a huge hand or I have no club and don't want to invest cont $$ multiway. when I don't want to invest cont $, CO may commit with any pair trying to "protect" vs two opponents and with position. If I bet 2/3s into that same same range he'll fold a lot of it since he won't want to commit without the draw in tact.

If he checks through then there really aren't any cards that hurt me, and while another club may kill my action from non-club hands, it will commit the stack of weaker flush draws that may have folded otherwise.

You grossly overestimate how much action you can get on further streets in this hand.

If a club hits you will rarely stack 9/Txc. I don't think that when you check a bunch of randoms will think "ZOMG he doesn't have a flush QT is good now!" I think most hands that will give you action later, also give you action now.

i think your hand is way to strong to worry about inducing bluffs. you'll usually make more money just taking the straightforward approach with hands this good and saving the sneaky for more marginal hands that you don't want to play a huge pot with anyway.
