Big stack had not been pushing often

Does this mean he had been pushing instead of raising 3x previously when the effective stacks were short? If so, was he also raising 3x some of the time? Any reads on the range he was pushing and the range he was raising?

My estimate that I was up against a good pocket pair was correct. I was up against 99 which put me in slightly less than a coin flip situation. Awfully hard to fold AQs in this spot, but in hindsight, it looked like the better choice in the situation. Thought some analysis from those with more experience at SNG's would be useful. As I say, this was my first SNG at a new fully computerized game at Commerce in LA. The computer thing didn't suck either. It really made things move along.
