Default KJs

Full Tilt 2/4

The BB isn't too good, not sure about the villain.

MP calls, Hero raises K [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]J [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] OTB, BB calls, MP calls

Flop: K [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 9 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 6 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

BB checks, MP checks, Hero bets and they both call

Turn: 7 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

BB checks, MP checks, Hero bets, BB calls, MP now check-raises, Hero?

I call and then make a decision on the river, turn raise could be a flush or str draw, could also be two pair. A read would help but I call down a non scare card on the river. Villian is raising into two people so this does give more credit to a legit hand

I'd call with 8 outs to a better two pair or set and probably wind up calling most rivers for one more. If he checked the river, I'd check it through concerned about a weak two pair or a straight he's sexying.

Strong move on the turn trapping BB. This is a strong hand much more often than a pure draw. Weak made hands with a draw are possible as well.

Call and make a tough decision on the river. If you dont get help and the flush gets there I would fold, anything else I call.

gehrig says 10 bb pots arent enough to say "well villain mite have misclicked 10:1 i call"

this should be folded on the river if we didnt counterfeit anything MP has better than KJ here always (unless he misclicked )

this probably is a calldown i make too often while multitabling when i should call the turn fold UI; god i hope i dont find more than 1 or 2 hands exactly like this vs a non maniac where i paid off on the end in my DB

8 outs? When Hero is behind, which IMO is like always here, his effective outs are far worse.

Villains's range of hands beating Hero (combos; # of outs for Hero):

K9 (6 combos; 3 outs)
97s (2;7)
96s (2;7)
76s (2;7)
99 (3;0)
77 (3;0)
66 (3;0)
85s (I will redcue by 50% since it is unlikely starting hand)
(2;0)
T8s (4;0)

This gives us effective outs of 2.2 when we are behind.

The only way to justify calling here is if you think you are still ahead a significant amount of the time to hands like pair + flush or str8 draw (e,g, 98). I don't think the typical player is trapping the field with such a hand. Perhaps on the flop, but not on the turn against a pre-flop raiser when there is a King on the board.

Plus, you face negative implied odds here since you can hit and will still often lose (the corrollary being that your implied odds are worse even those times your hands are good sicne you simply cannot raise with those hands since you were so often drawing dead on the turn to begin with).

Fold the turn.

I folded the turn here, simply because I figured to be drawing to something like 3 outs if I wasn't drawing dead.
