Default AK

Bodog 4/8

MP calls, I raise in the CO with A [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] K [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], blinds call and so does the MP.

Flop (~7SBs): 5 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]9 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]6 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

Everyone checks to Hero who uncharacteristically checks behind.

Turn (3.5BB) : Q [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

check, check, MP bets, I fold.

With the A [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] I think I could have bet this flop. There are really no scary cards and if I get raised I can just fold the turn UI. What think you?

Decent chance this flop missed everyone. I'd probably bet this one and take a free card if given on the turn or if only one player stayed in, I might rep the Q on the turn. A in [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] helps.

Against 3 people including 2 blinds with this middling flop I would play the same. Getting ck-r on the flop sucks.

I play it the same. MP might be bluffing to get you off your apparent AK, but with 2 others in the hand it's less likely that he's bluffing and it's less likely that you have the best hand.

Since it prolly doesn't matter much I would base it on how aggressive or passive the typical game is at that site.

Maybe it doesn't matter much in a vaccum, but if you bet this you probably c-bet too much.

The Ace of Diamonds says bet and the three cards to a straight on board say check. Without the Ad I'd say it's a solid check, make the five a duece, and I'd say it's a clear bet. On the flop, I'd be more concerned with what the blinds have than the limper. If they're passive I'd bet the flop and think about taking a free card on the turn.
