why is it on the Subway club you get 4-6 pieces of turkey but only two of those thin slices of Ham and/or Roast Beef... is the processed turkey way cheaper?

[/ QUOTE ]

The formula for the club on a ft long is 4 turkey 2 ham 4 roast beef. The Ham and Turkey cost almost the same, the beef is more expensive for us the both of them. You do get screwed on the ham because it is so thin, but overall its a pretty decent price for all of the meat.

Another question, why did subway start cutting their bread lengthwise instead of the weird u-shaped thing they used to cut off the top?

I love subway, but why do they never have a drive thru? I'd eat there a whole lot more if they did.

How do you feel about all the new breads that they introduced? I find that the "specialty" breads are usually stale.

What's the most difficult thing about managing a Subway?

Also, do you own the location? If so, or if you know, how much can you pull down a month running one of these?

I had sex inside a Subway bathroom once, also the manager was a well known heroin addict, and the employees would turn blind eyes to people taking free stuff out of there, why in your opinion are some of these locations ran so poorly, is it really that easy for anyone to land a management position there? I only ask because the place around here is a well-known dump which I am shocked isn't shutdown yet.

How is the quality of the meats? Say you had to compare at the supermarket.

This is location-specific since the one near me, the "sandwich artists" are super dumb. Do you have a lot of turnaround? When I ask for lettuce, onions, and sweet peppers, the guy looks confused and wants me to point at what I want on my sandwich.

The good thing about Subway, I will admit, is the bread. I love the cheesy one, and the oat one.

[/ QUOTE ]

the meat quality is prolly just below the supermarket, but pretty damn close.

its a very high turnaround, we go through people like crazy. But a lot of the problem your faceing at your subway is the training of the employees, there is a lot to handle for newbs and if they aren't trained right they will suck.

Are there any sandwiches you suggest we avoid?

Why does the roast beef shine like oil spilled in a lake?

How can I tell which bread is fresh? Sometimes I order a sanwich and the bread is crunchy and old. I want to avoid that without asking the guy. Or is asking the guy my only option?

Why does the chipotle dressing always give me the runs? Is this a common problem? It's just so good.

Edit: Do you feel Subway blatantly ripped of Quizno's toasted subs? And what's the deal with pizzas at subway?

[/ QUOTE ]

I have never had anyone mention a problem with the chipotle sauce, it could be a combination of items you are eating together.

Yes I do think Subway ripped off the toasting idea, but I'm glad they did, not only has it been good for business, but I love toasted subs

None of the Subways in my market have the pizza's and the ones im aware that have the pizzas are just breakfast pizzas. In that case I think it is just to help the breakfast, cause we hardly sell anything for breakfast
