Default AQ reraised, deep, and oop. FUN!!

I have been 3-betting preflop a decent amount. Villain has been opening fairly light and up untill now has generally been folding to my 3-bets. He has called them maybe once and then folded to a continuation bet. Villain has been playing solid and we have only tangled in one large pot where he called down a 3-barrell bluff with top pair queen kicker on a fairly scary board.

This is such a tough spot for me on the turn. I'm not sure I like my bet size here or even like a bet at all. When I made the bet I decided to shut down if it was called but I'm not sure this is the best line here. Comments on all streets are welcome.

check fold grimm? I think I agree with you that a check here is correct. It just feels so weak to give up on the hand here.

I don't like to reraise preflop oop with AQ. I've been doing it more often lately though but I have a few questions.

What's the point of leading on a flop like this?
- You probably won't get paid by a worst hand
- if you bet too small you'll get raised often (I know I would raise pretty often) and I don't like playing the rest of the hand w AQ oop without the lead.

Are you just protecting your hand? Value betting/getting info? Or is this all about shania and meta-game?

I think its played fine. I might even go for a little value on river as well, but since u checked i think its also fine to fold against a PSB here. If you C/C turn u should also C/C river wich might cost you more....

ahnuld, what is the reasoning for leading the flop for less than pot?

BeNice, a major reason that I lead the flop is because I have been making continuation bets after 3 betting 80 to 90 percent of the time and I feel that it is possible that villain could peel one off with a hand I'm ahead of.

On the river I only have about 1200 left. Does anyone like a shove here? I decided on the turn that if I wanted to get the whole stack in I would c/c turn and river. I felt like if I wanted to give up, the best line was to fire the turn then check fold the river. Is this flawed logic?

I felt like I am going to see AK or better a very large percentage of the time here from villain alpha.
