Here's the next bit

No IQ poker 5.00/10.00, hand converted by the iPoker Converter at Talking-Poker

Button Hero ($2514.00)
SB MANDRAKEn1 ($812.00)
BB HFG ($1000.00)
UTG [color=#C00000]villain ($1924.50)</font>
UTG+1 Amilda ($88.00)
CO TaraGold ($387.25)

Preflop: Hero is on the Button with 6 9
villain calls 10.00, 2 folds, Hero raises to 45.00, 2 folds, villain calls 35.00.

Flop (105.00) 7 7 3

Turn (405.00) 8

You're drawing dead, fold. And yes, I bet this turn.

The beratement is definitely the key to this hand.

I actually like checking behind on the turn just because if villain has air we're going to be able to take it down a lot of the time on the river.

3bet flop - he has shown a propensity to c/r a weak holding and you have no showdown value.

But we can improve to a hand that does have SD value.

If you are going to bluff, you have to do it on the turn where you have credibility and great draws. On the river after showing weakness on a drawy board you may get looked up by any pair.
