Default [25nl] Big leak of mine, bigpairs becoming 2nd pair

This exemplifies something i think is one of my biggest leaks, atleast it feels like it. Pairs like jj-qq when i either bet or 3bet them flop and an overcard comes out. I usually handle cbet them 2/3 of the pot regardless of position. Is it that wrong? Should i cut down on it... feels like i'm giving the money for free by doing this.

Ps. How would you handle the river?

you got to showdown relatively cheap, if you check and he bets $5, are you calling?

This is fine if you plan on calling a bet from him on the river. I don't mind c/f either

I c/f the river (call if the bet is very small) . Every draw is basically in by the river. C-bet is fine, I wouldn't be 3-betting the flop or anything, you're hand is fairly weak with little chance to improve after the flop so you're basically hoping to win the pot outright if your opponent gives up.

Anyone else like a flop check against an unknown/unobservant? Your hand can't take any heat and unknown's short, call a flop bet and see where it goes from there?

I'd bet more preflop because we are out of position. I'd bet flop, and turn with Qs in my hand.

5x isn't a bad amount, neither would 6x be. I'd bet more on the flop (at least 3/4 pot), after the check check turn I think you're fine calling a bet on the flop, obv not a rr so I usually go with the check call line.
