The K is not really a very good card for you vs. a nit.

It helps you against AT specifically. It hurts you against QJ specifically.

Against sets, it just make your hand look better than it is and gives you a thin redraw.

I mean, the dude's a nit. He sees the board. He knows there are a bunch of hands you aren't folding. So what is he doing with the c/r?

I probably call and hope he checks the river so I can show it down. If not, I fold the river. There is one real hand you are beating and if he fires again with AT or some kind of truly bizarre bluff, well gg him.

88/TT worry me a lot more than QJ. Not sure if he calls PF let alone peels OOP w/ only a gutterball. Then again it is 4-handed. Now if QJ is in his range, then AT/A8/KTs are probably all as well...but I'm not sure if he peels w/ 2nd pair so it would have to be weighted more towards AT/A8. FWIW I really really wanted to fold this in the heat of the moment.

QJ is a double gutter and if you c/c the flop, the turn checks through, you can often bluff the river profitably. He could and does have QJs here quite a bit, I think. TT/88 as well, though.
