I [censored] up hand 1 pretty bad, but not sure where to change my line.

Hand 2 villian is a 22-17, but I can't see what he's pushing that I'm beating

Hand 3 villian is completely unknown

Hand 4 ??? easy fold, or am i overthinking

Hand 1: check/shove flop.

Hand 2: Raise it up preflop then fold after BB repops (as he probably still does). As played fold pre after BB makes it $9 unless you have some read on BB and you want to reraise for a steal - you got nearly the best flop you could hope for and still had to fold.

Hand 3: Make a bigger bet on flop closer to $4. As played the fold is fine but calling to reeval on turn is all right too i think.

Hand 4: You either gota fold pre or raise it up imo. Just calling for set value is bad idea here especially since you have original raiser behind who might repop. I probably fold against unknowns but i can see making a play here against the right opponents.

Hand 1 seems ok to me, I might try to raise it on the flop and take it down, but I don't think I can get away from 2 villains when the board is drawy like that.

Hand 2 - eh...these guys make me very annoyed. It's either a big pocket pair making sure there's no ace on the board and pushing, or a scared AK making sure there's no broadways on the flop and then pushing. Who knows. I just fold, but I'm weak and frail in these situations.

Hand 3 requires a read - lots of people will checkraise strong draws at this limit and that's a hella drawy flop. I think I might actually float this checkraise and reevaluate the turn.

Hand 4 - raise/fold the flop. You have position, take advantage of it. Makes the turn play a lot easier no matter what card comes.

I really don't understand why you don't raise overpairs in some of these situations on the flop. punishes draws and gives you a much better idea of where you are in the hand. sure, you get pot control by just calling but not really because someone might just shove or overbet.

Also in the flop donk all in hand I'm pretty certain he has a nuts flush draw. No other explanation for ridiculous move - if he had a set or straight he'd check raise or at least donk a more reasonable amount. Still, I'd probably fold it as well.

BUT WHY did you not 3-bet JJ PF?? you seem to be playing very tight-passive in my opinion. Of course, I'm just a lowly 10nl player so i guess you might have your reasons.

i think you're spot on Eric... i 12 table so i don't get a lot of time for each decision, and i run about a 18/10/1.4 even tho i feel like i'm playing more like a 25/20/3...

from past experiences at full ring, i've learned to not play huge pots w/ JJ, but i guess it really is a monster at 6 max...

with that said, should i be going broke preflop w/ it ocassionally
