Default Trip Report- Mandy\'s surgery

My dog Mandy has been having a lot of trouble peeing for the last few weeks, and on Friday, she passed a stone <ouch>. We took her to the vet, and to make a long story short, she needed to have 20 stones removed from her bladder.

She is home now, and still seems to be in pain when she pees.

Here are some pics.

She has a cone on her head to keep her from trying to rip out the stitches.

There are a lot of stitches down there. I can only imagine how much pain she is in. We give her pain pills 2 times a day, along with antibiotics and anti-inflamatories.
The cone is too big for her to get into her bed, and she is too sore to jump onto my bed. Mostly she used to sleep under my bed, but there is NO way she can get there with the cone.
Just a gratuitous pic of my son

Ouch. Tough dog. One stone would have me begging for mercy. Thank God I don't have any stones ... which my wife is always happy to remind me ...

I always feel so helpless when my pets are sick because I can't explain to them that this really will make it all better.

She's even more gorgeous than I thought, and she looks like she's doing as well as can be expected. Please keep us updated.
