Default River spot 400NL

Just moved to iPoker.
Main villain is 18/16/4 over about 100 hands, no other special reads. Button is a station fish, pretty bad player on the whole
I had been playing about 22/19, hadn't shown down much, hadn't had many showdowns at all actually.

iPoker Huron East (No DP) 2/4, hand converted by the iPoker Converter at Talking-Poker

saw flop

Button Button ($617.90)
SB ($448.60)
BB BB ($592.50)
UTG DrMagic ($579.40)
UTG+1 ($320.60)
CO ($476.40)

Preflop: DrMagic is UTG with A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] K [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]
DrMagic raises to 16, 2 folds, Button calls 16, 1 fold, BB raises to 45, DrMagic calls 33, Button calls 33.

Flop (149) K [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 6 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 6 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]
BB checks, DrMagic checks, Button checks.

Turn (149) 4 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
BB bets 110, DrMagic calls 110, 1 fold.

River (369) 6 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
BB bets 320

Who prefers 4betting pf? I call to keep the fish in.

edit: missed stacks, PF is OK I think

river is tough, but I think you're rarely ahead (splitting a lot though)

Yeah I like just calling this. I doubt the fish is going to call that loosely on this board though.

yea just call. He is either bluffing, has you beat, or same hand. I don't mind 4 bet sometimes preflop but the reraise is kinda small and you guys are 1.5 buy in deep.

raising the river is really stupid, BB will not call you with worse like ever.

Ok well the general concensus here is that I should call the river. I think its very close but in these spots where the decision is marginal I almost always call cos I'm a station. So call I did and he had AA.

If you think about it combinatronically it might be better to fold, since I'd be surprised if villain is bluffing this river. I think his range is something like {KK+, AK}. The EV of calling against this range is -$17 if you don't discount any part of his range. If any part of his range is to be discounted I think it's AK based on his flop check and turn+river bets.

Do you think he's squeezing preflop and has a wider range of kings? If so that obviously makes it a call, but I just don't expect players like him 3-betting hands like that out of position.

I expected there was a chance he would squeeze pf to isolate the fish.
