I saw a screening of this over a year ago. It was great with regards to the poker stuff, but the love story was really poorly done. Overall, it wasn't a very significant part of the whole story and didn't make sense. My guess is they decided to up the sappyness and decrease the poker, that's why it took so long to come out.

Lots of people, "if they EVER release it" or "hope they don't release it at such-and-such time."
There is no guess-work involved. Every commercial I have seen says May 4. Yes, it looks terrible.

this couldn't possibly be worse than the movie "All in" starring Dominique Swain. Her dad (michael madsen) is a poker pro, who she thinks is dead. But when she gets to the final table of the poker tournament, he turns out to be ALIVE. and they end up playing HEADS UP.
It was soooooo bad. Partypoker gave me tickets to it, and they promised booze and free food, so I went. It wasn't worth it.
