yea...the whole 2-7 stuff is beyond me, though that thread wasn't about strategy as much as them going at each other...

In the 2-7 thread I just posted ":eyesrolling" because I thought the criticism of TT's posts was so obvious that it was a waste of time to spell it out.

I can't remember his exact post but basically he recommended folding 2w6 (i.e. 236, 246, 256) UTG, *in order to reduce variance*.

In my opinion this is bad advice for any poker variant (folding thinly +EV hands to reduce variance), but especially bad for 2-7, which has a huge variance no matter how you play it. If you really fear variance that much you should simply not play 2-7.

Anyway I wanted to just leave it at that but then he made some bizarre attack, claiming I had made razz games softer which is truly absurd for many reasons, which was so dumb I had to respond.

Razz fight and 2-7 fight. Drama gogogogogogogo!!!

If THIS is what the threats are about, TT is WAY more out of line than OP, particularly threatening to ban someone for posts in a forum he doesn't even mod. Disagreement is not trolling.
