Trip Report -- Reno gets owned by KIDDMOTHER -- P.S. What's a nit?

So I headed to Reno for 10 days of skiing. This was planning a long time ago (6 months) before I got hooked on 2+2 by my kid. I'm not a poker player but all these folks making some serious money made me think that I ought to play a little while in Reno. Not poker 'cause I don't have enough knowledge of the game but he told me that if I could get "match play coupons" that the odds would be in my favor sooooo -- it's time to gambooooollll!!!! [img]/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img] I sign up for the player's club and get $5.00 match play. Plus when you check in you get these coupon sheets, one of which is a $2.00 match play. I use my $5.00 match play and my two $2.00 match plays and win all 3 bets for a profit of $18.00, one at blackjack, one at craps and one at roulette. Dang, this is EASY!!! Next day I only have four of the $2.00 match plays but I win 3 of the four bets for a profit of $16.50 (I got blackjack which paid 1 1/2 times!!). Then I hit payyyyy diirrrt. I want a treat one night so I buy a 3 bar pack of Haagen Daaz bars at the grocery --- I eat one, my husband eats one and I have one left. I go to the front desk to get my nightly supply of match plays, and bring the extra ice cream bar and ask the gal at the front desk if she wants it. She says yes and is excited to go in the back to get my lift tickets off the computer and eat her ice cream bar. So she leaves the front desk unoccupied and there just "happens" to be a huge stack of coupon sheets sitting there. So I figured it was good karma from giving her the ice cream and I helped myself to a healthy stack of coupons [img]/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img]. But then sadly it is the weekend and the minimum stakes go up to $5.00 or even $10.00 per bet and I lose maybe $20.00 or $25.00 before I realize that I'm losing and I better stop while I'm ahead. So I save the rest of my healthy supply of match plays until Monday when the stakes go down and I can just bet $2.00 of my own money and $2.00 of their money. All in all, I bet I earned a whopping $38-40 on the trip!!! Not badddddd at all ---- anyway I get home and tell my kid the story and he calls me a nit ---- what's that????
