ban em2?

im bringing this up bc a large amount of people seem to be calling for it in hsnl. the problem however, is that i am good friends with samo, so if i ban em2, i think some people could think im doing it for the wrong reasons.

im sure everyone knows the story by now, but in this link, lots of people seem to agree he should be banned. http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/showfl...0&fpart=all
em2 responded at the end, make sure and read that section of the thread.

I believe that the people want a permaban. And considering what he did, I think it is warranted.

To me this is rather similar to the Dan Bright/Tuff Fish situation. There were many, including Mat, that wanted to cut him some slack. And he had a long history of trolling. We need to judge this situation with the same mind as the Dan Bright situation.

i dont think i agree. dan was a good guy and IIRC gave alot in the way of strategy. em2 doesnt at all. he is basically a popular troll who happens to be very good at poker.

I can't see how a perma ban makes sense. He just used the information that was out there to google a guy. Yeah, he shouldn't have posted it again, but that's just not a perma-ban like crime.

i never mentioned a permaban, that was Isura.

i was thinking that another longer, but not permanent ban would be the right action when i made the OP. sorry, i should have more clear.
