Default Oh man, I haven\'t felt this lost in ages

Party Poker - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $1/$2 Blinds - 6 Players - (LegoPoker Hand History Converter)

SB: $203.70
BB: $157.70
UTG: $202.70
MP: $448.40
Hero (CO): $220.75
BTN: $702.90

Preflop: Hero is dealt T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (6 Players)
UTG raises to $4.00, MP calls $4.00, Hero calls $4.00, 2 folds, BB calls $2.00

Flop: ($17) J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (4 Players)
BB checks, UTG bets $6.00, MP raises to $18.00, Hero calls $18.00, BB folds, UTG calls $12.00

Turn: ($71) A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (3 Players)
UTG checks, MP bets $22.00, Hero raises to $68.00, UTG calls $68.00, MP raises all-in to $426.40, Hero folds, UTG calls all-in for $112.70

MP is a solid looking 19/17, UTG is a big idiot. Anyone 3bet flop? I think a call is better for extracting from worse hands, I think MP can get away from a lot of good hands if I 3bet. Turn is just wtf?

I like your flop play and definitely agree that we get more value from worst hands like sets/2pair. I call the turn shove though.

I don't think anyone folds a set or two pair if you raise the flop.

I might slowplay the nut flush here but I probably just 3-bet flop with T high flush.

I can't believe you raise/folded the turn, esp after getting these kind of odds, and after slowplaying the flop.

Your turnplay is indeed wtf.

really no reasonable kx combos that can be in play...

i usually don't say this, but get errr in, bbv, cooler, etc if lose.

I have to say, it may have been one hell of a fold, I think it was a good lay down.

Turned out to be a good one but only because I would have got boned by the river

I'm ambivalent about the flop play.

On the turn, why did you raise so small? To induce a call from spewy UTG? I would have raised to at least $85.

As for folding or calling, it's close and you probably made the right play. MP definitely seems pretty fearless, but I guess another possibility would be that after UTG overcalls he got stuck to a set? Still, looks like you're drawing to 1 or 2 outs a very big proportion of the time.

WHAT???

you realise you had a flush and an open ended straight-flush-draw, do you?

wow, i could never ever lay this down! don't know if that's bad but i wouldn't even think of it!

seriously, MP could have AK with one diamond or a lower flush, that's enough for me to happily get my money in. even without considering sets.

I can't make any sense out of his $22 bet into the $70 pot, then 3bet all in. He doesn't seem too scared of getting outdrawn. He's got to have the Ace high flush right?
