I was at that table too, Villian insta called the All-in so I put him on 55 or 44 and maybe 54s since he limped pre-flop, I didnt think the JJ though. The funny thing is I had AKo that hand and almost made a re-raise preflop to 1000 which would have pushed you out. I was 50/50 on making the re-raise but since I was out of position I just called.

In your spot I call too though since both players were on the loose side.

Yeah, I almost folded. My instinct was saying fold so bad. There's just no way I could fold I figured. He couldve had NFD, 54, 67cc. Oh well. gl if you're still in.

I can never get away from bottom set with 200BB, unless I had a VERY specific read.

BB probably has a big pocket pair and UTG may have one pair. Many bad players will call a big push here with AJ.

You just got unlucky.

The fact he flat called the intiall bb raise would make me discount a higher set a bit, just because its multi-way and he'd be giving all the other players the chance to stick around with the flush draw.

I think you have to call here, I'd need a strong read to lay it down and here you should have a read saying its unlikely.

IMO you can't feasibly expect him to have JJ, although obv he did lol, but the way he played the hand you can discount it pretty heavily.

So the only hand you can expect him to have that beats you right now is specifically 55. There is a much wider range that you do beat (combo draws, 2 pair, TPTK etc) so I don't think you can fold.

Just unlucky on this occasion.
