Bay101 $100 rebuy super sat for Shooting Star 10k event.

160 players, 70 of whom are alternates. I am an alternate and finally get in at the beginning of level 4 (post rebuy period) w/ 3700 in chips and blinds at 100-200 (please no comments on the shittiness of my decision to play...suffice it to say, I woke up at 6am to play in this thing so I wasn't going to get the refund)

I fold my first 6 hands and pick up A [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]K [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] utg. I raise make it 500 to go. Folded to SB who was an alternate and came in at the same time as me and had lost one small hand already and was down to 2500 calls. BB who was somewhat loose preflop, abc postflop (i've played w/ him previously) calls.

Pot 1500. my stack 3200, sb 2k, BB 3500'ish.

Flop is: K [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] J [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 7 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

SB spashes his last 2k into the pot and BB calls in tempo.

meh...i enjoy playing live. i had two friend drive from sacramento to play the sat w/ me and they decided it would be a fun time to go to the bars until 2 on friday night.

amazingly, we only leave the house 10 min late and are just barely locked out into the alternates. given the choice of getting a $125 refund and going home to mow the lawn or paying $325 for 15xbb, it was pretty easy for me.

FWIW, I bubbled the FT so FU guys. =)

I think this seems like a reasonable range:
Any two diamonds/QT/KT+/AJ/JJ/77/random donkey bluff

I would discount:
A flush draw because you have the A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]
KJ because he might c/r to maximize value
77 for the same reason
JJ for the same reason and because he pushes this pf pretty often
