sossman, you are definitely going in the right direction. i'm glad your partner came around. using your surnames makes your business moniker both unique and adds a sense of credibility.
mixing & matching the syllables of your names, as some have suggested, is pretty gimmicky unless you can make it seamless. i don't think "properties" captures the essence of your business, but assuredly, stewart & soss at the beginning is good.
