I didn't know anything about this guy as I rarely play 5/10 anymore but I emailed Party right away. This steamed me so bad as it is blatant cheating. Party should not only take away his DP but kick him off the site.

He is that tight now?

His used to be alot looser and kinda lagtarded, making alot of big bluffs for full stacks.

[/ QUOTE ]
Yeah, he has two gears, neither of them particularly good. I'm sure he takes enough money off of actually bad players to stay afloat.

If Party had any sense they should class each d/c as a call and transfer the $ in the pot to the victims account.

[/ QUOTE ]

Thankfully you don't work at Party. What if you're bluffing and they treat a genuine disconnection as a call, you lose the pot? What if you flop nothing & someone goes all-in and you have a genuine disconnection, you lose your stack!

Just get rid of DP.

[/ QUOTE ]

what i meant was the pot would automatically go to the victim whether the cards held up or not.

Either that, or the money the villain (literally in this case!) has comitted to the pot (so in this case it would be the $120ish in the AQ hand) would automatically go the victim. I think this is the best idea actually, cos it does allow for genuined disconnects. So say if the villain had sucked out on me in that hand...the $120 would go to me. Obv i'd like the full $400, but the money already in the pot would be a decent compromise.

[/ QUOTE ]

the most retarded thing about the party software imo is where if you are in a hand and dont make a decision to check/bet it automatically folds your hand if you time out, instead of just checking it... no matter if its on the river, you are last to act and theres no more betting to come.
ive lost loads in timing out pots cos i was concentrating on a hand on another table and forgot to check behind a hand on the river

We all lost a lot of money over the last year.

After that, I'm not sure how it works. E.g. when taking money to/from a table, I'm not sure if you get hit with a conversion rate or whether it is the same rate in/out.

[/ QUOTE ]

Yeah, the USD index fell a whopping 3.5% last year. Try not to confuse the EUR rising necessarily with the USD falling a lot, it depends which currency pair you mean or the broad index.

Heh, they'd have to be pretty stupid to collude using almost identical screen names, too.
