Hmmm....unfortunately that doesn't help too much. I suppose hes unlikely to check a solid hand here if you are also checking behind a significant amount of the time. However, he could definitely b3b a draw here too.

arent we behind just about all of villain's range? even when we arent crushed we are not in the greatest of shape unless he is holding like 45ss

Depends how often he donkbets and how wide your raising range on the flop is/how often you've been raising him etc etc.
