Default SNG vs. Cash Game!

I was inspired to make this post by the following article: LINK

It is mentioned there, that a good Cash game player earns much more money per hour than a good SNG player. Is this correct? I am playing SNGs a lot and am really wondering why cash games should be so much more profitable.

More decisions in cash games so more opportunities for your opponents to make mistakes.

It appears that optimal stratigy for SnGs has been pretty much been solved now and all one has to do is study the SnG forum here to become rather good at them.

but can't be cashgame compared to SNG game in the early stages: playing super-tight (play any pair and hands like AK, AQ and maybe KQs and maybe suited connectors for big payoff from time to time). or is that completly wrong?

what books are good in explaining the optimal cashgame strategy?
