My apartment and everything in it smells

A couple of my roommates are Indian. My clothes and apartment smell Indian. No real Indian cooking is done in the apartment...My towel smells Indian and therefore when I dry myself I smell Indian. I imagine my clothes smell Indian. Never noticed it before until friends commented on my apartment. I like my roommates, but this smell is not working for me. Any ideas on how to remedy the situation? Thanks in advance.
