why does everyone hate Leeds so much? [/ QUOTE ] it all depends on who you support. As a ManU fan, I take great glee in watching those yorkshire turds tumble into the third tier |

Bump for the upcoming games. Do or die time for Chelsea against Arsenal. There only prayer is a win and ManU to stumble.

Re: **** OFFICIAL Premiership 2006-07 season Thread!*****
The race for the championship could end this weekend. The only realistic chance Chelsea has is to win its last 3 games. If it draws or loses any of the games, it's pretty much over.
That said, because Chelsea plays Man U, 5 points isn't as big as it seems at first glance. If Chelsea wins its last 3 games, Man U have to go at least 1-1-0 in its other two games to win the league. That means if Man U loses to Man City, the door is wide open for Chelsea. |

TSC, if Arsenal win or draw against Chelsea, I promise not to make fun of them or yourself for the entire first month of next season.

Re: **** OFFICIAL Premiership 2006-07 season Thread!*****
I haven’t seen a discussion of this on here so I hope to provoke one.
West Ham fined for fielding ineligible players. There is a precedent for docking teams points for this but some how West Ham escape, speculation is that the Premier league committee knew West Ham would appeal to the courts and chickened out. But now The other relegation battlers are going to take legal action so it looks like the whole league will be up in the air over the summer brake as the issue of who will be relegated will be decided in court. I hate the fact that teams can take legal action against governing bodies when things don’t go their way. I hate the fact that the premiership committee is so spineless and didn’t doc 10 points to begin with and I hate the fact that they constantly show favouritism to the bigger clubs. |
