Default 10/20 Flopped Boat. And I consider folding!

We could argue about my flop play but I'd rather not. Both players are aggressive 30/20ish

This is a tougher decision than I thought. Its hard imagine its anything other than TT vs. AA/KK/Qx/QQ. Immediately getting 12:1 with the chance of being faced with more...folding is ok I think.

(ps not raising the flop is a mistake, discussion over)

Don't forget QT. This is stinky spot, if both aren't retarded or play retarded against each other I think you can let this go.

I think all 3 of the above posters are probably right that you could let it go in this spot... but I wouldn't.

I'm going to feel better calling and taking the worst of it (slightly) than I would if this is the one time the world is turned upside down and I would have won and a I made a huge laydown with a fullhouse. That would tilt me a bit and therefor the call is probably breakeven'ish for me.

I posted in SSSH as I didn't think I was getting a response. I posted the results on there, I'll leave them for now on here.

Many people said I should call - especially when I told them BB was on tilt.

My own reasoning was this:-

I still can't see what UTG could have though that I can beat.

The VERY WORST he has is AQ.

Now he knows I am a decent player and I am not 3 betting that turn without AQ at the very least. He also knows that the tilter (despite his tilt) is not a complete fool therefore has to have a queen or better.

Now he knows he has a queen himself so one of us has to have better. Yet he still raises that river.

The more I think about it, the more I think it was a fold.

No-one has replied to this yet.

I find it VERY interesting that the small stakes guys say call and the mid stakes guys say fold.

the main thing is that you're banking on utg really spazzing here if you call the river, and while people spazz all the time hu it's much rarer 3 handed.

I think its a pretty easy fold, and thats without even thinking about this getting 3 bet and capped behind you.

are all of you crazy? there is no way you fold. think about it, this hand was capped preflop and the original raiser was utg. that means your up against premium hands here, so q10, q4, and q8 are out of the question. there is only one realistic hand to fear pocket tens. and i doubt utg has it, or else he most likely would of raised the flop, trying to push you off ak aj or anything that could draw on a pretty good flop for tens. now bb was the capper after a utg raise and a re raise, so his most likely hand is 10s. but would you really be that surprised if he had aa kk or aq, there was a flush and straight draw on the board, which tends to make people play faster, and the pot is offering great odds. take the odds you only have to be right a small percentage of the time, theres deffinantly more than a small chance your up against trips and an overpair, or maybe two trips, is that so unlikely? call and win 20bb by risking 2.
