5CD: my kingdom for a HUD

i know its a fn huge project. but at least humor me with a discussion of what would be involved. it will be interesting for me; i'd like to learn about what would be involved in constructing one from scratch.

lets say i just want something that gives VP$IP and PFR% from an existing database and posts it either on the table, or in an auxillary window.

tens, hundreds, or thousands of man-hours? and could any nerd do this if he had the financial incentive, or would you need very specific skills?

its a pipedream i know, but i'm interested in how big a job this would be.

Please, God, don't allow the 5CD tables to be ruined with HUDs.

I don't want HUDs available either, but how hard would it be to convert 5cd HHs into Holdem format?

It'd be useless for a lot of stuff, but blind steals etc could be read.

I'm the only one who gets what he's asking. he doesn't want them availible, he wants them for hiself, yo!

I'm playin a little with some VB code to at least keep track of my wins and losses on Stars (eventually a nice PokerGrapher like graph would be nice).

Sadly I haven’t written much windoze stuff in the past... 5 years has it been? Been doing asm stuff for embedded apps.

Anyone up for making a flowchart for extracting info from a HH?
