Default Stars VIP Monthly 100K - worth trying to qualify?

Does anyone know how many entrants the monthly 100K gets? I'm about to get to silver star for the first time and am trying to work out whether it's worth trying to get in to this tourney via the fpp sats.

It gets a ton. Like almost 4K IIRC.

It's a great tourney, you wont find a softer field with that kind of pool, especially considering all the players sitting out. It's a lot of fun and probably the easiest bubble to abuse anywhere.

That being said I wouldn't make any big sacrifices to qualify or play more tables/higher stakes than your comfortable with to get goldstar.

Is that supposed to be a good thing?

Thanks all.

Basically the sats are 130fpps (roughly $2) with 1/10 qualifying. 4-5000 entrants makes it a $20-25 equivalent MTT. Not great value, but I think I'll go with it.

Definitely worth playing... the 130 fpp sats are pretty good.

I've only played the 100k once, but I finished 92nd for ~$160 or so. Great value... was surprised at how soft it was considering the majority of the players are Gold+

I also busted Bel0wab0ve on the bubble, which was nice...

A lot of the field is going to be cash players, right?

Huge edge.
