Nice entry!

How does it look without the symbols in the suits?

The colors are very pleasing to the eye as well.

What exactly is the 'expert' advice for playing 9To in a SNG?

Uhhh, if you are in a spot where pushing any two cards is appropriate then I guess 9To is good enough to push. If not, fold it.

I understand not wanting to have AA on your cover like every other poker book but of all books to have 9To on the cover a SNG is not one of them. Pocket deuces makes more sense as a 2+2 tie in... or you could just have AKs/AA

Hi Everyone:

As some of you have probably noticed, we have experinced some down time today with the forums. So we're going to extend the contest by one day to make sure that any last minute entries do get posted. So the contest will run till midnight Saturday June 16. At that time I will lock the thread and then our evaluation of the covers will begin.

Best wishes,
Mason

Good deal - in that case I'll try to finish my submission for Collin's book.

Lot's of color work to be done tomorrow, I have no idea what the base color will be. Probably on the light side, this blue (or any blue) is probably out.

Comments welcome.

Also, if anyone needs a colorful textbook cover for a 5th-grade algebra book, please send PM.

First, these probably won't be the cards used, it will most likely be KQ-KT, assuming I can even finish in the next three hours before I have to leave for the night.

Second, if a "play any two" jam/fold situation is the only time you can think of where it's profitble to play T9o in a SNG... ? I don't even play tournaments and I feel pretty certain there are situations where the big stack raising T9 to pick up weak medium-stack blinds is right, esp on the bubble. And of course, we're talking one-table SNGs, so these bubble decisions are reasonably common. Did you notice the bubble? lol

Anyway, nj rothko
