Default Can *ANYBODY* actually 12-table at Party without CPU lag?

Party is running so bad for me now it's a joke. At the beginning of the year I've 11-tabled and 12-tabled for sessions of upto 5 hours before, but now I can't seem to 8-table for 2 hours without terrible software chugs...

It's definitely not a memory leak for me as I've been watching and Party is always using ~65MB. Interestingly Party doesn't just start using massive amounts of CPU time either, but will just start "spiking" and suddenly using loads of CPU (especially when i press the buttons) and then go back to normal.

Tbo, I'm totally sick of it now. I have had a month off playing poker and had seriously hoped that this would be fixed in the last update, but alas it seems even worse than I remember... It's now coming down to the sad choice of leave Party which has nice fish but CPU chugs, or go and play at Stars with every table full of tight regulars but no CPU chugs...

Am I the only one having these problems?

Start with 10, then cut back to 8 when it gets worse after about 45 mins, then after about 30 mins more it becomes unbearable and I have to just finish off the SNGs and then close the client and start again - overall I'm playing about 40% less SNGs/hour than I could be because of this [censored]...

EDIT: My latest idea is just just write an app that properly kills the Party client and reopens it. I might lose some EV to the downtime and waiting for all the tables to popup, but so long as I don't do it when any of my tables at 2 or 3 handed I think the EV I'll lose will be more than made up for the fact I can play more tables. Only problem is that it scrambles all my hand histories and they show up in PT as N/A for the finish position...

I used to, but now I don't and I have to just make do with a Notes.txt file based on the number of times I've seen a player play as my only stat.

All I run in a couple of AHK scripts that use about 5% CPU each and even when I turn them all off it still lags.

It's SNG specific. I used to 10 table continuous, now I can't eight table for more than two sets without bog downs.

I switched to cash after countless lock-ups, lost buy-ins, and massive rage attacks.

Cash still bogs after 8 tabling for 3-5 hours, but it's better. There were rumours circulating that it is an SNG specific 'flaw' designed to reduce the number of multi-tabling SNG pros...

Regardless, I too left party for some time...the software is infuriating and their lack of acceptance over their countless problems leaves me speechless. I hate them...but the games are SO full of euro-fish it's impossible to go elsewhere. [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]
